AMENDMENT TO NOTICE OF RACE

 

3       TEAM

 

Each competing team shall consist of a skipper and crew (3 minimum including skipper) for all boats.  The skipper must be a member of the club that he or she represents.  There is no requirement that the owner of the boat be on board.  This AMENDED 3 completely replaces Paragraph 3 in the original NOTICE OF RACE.

 

7       FEES

 

The entry fee is adjusted to be $100 per boat as opposed to $50 per person.  The remainder of Paragraph 7 pertaining to insurance remains in effect.  The LWSA welcomes all donations to support its programs.  The LWSA is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt entity and donations may be tax deductible.

 

15     LIFE JACKETS

 

When Flag Y is displayed with one sound before or with the warning signal, all competitors shall wear life-jackets or other adequate personal buoyancy.  It is up to the Skipper of each individual boat as to whether life-jackets are worn at times other than when required by the Race Committee.  This Amended 15 completely replaces Paragraph 15 in the original NOTICE OF RACE.
